The Christopher Kolade Centre for Research Leadership and Ethics recently organized a three-day research workshop at the Lagos Business School on the IMRC Ground floor class. The workshop took place on Monday, January 23, 2023, Wednesday, January 25, 2023, and Friday, January 27, 2023. A total of forty participants registered for the workshop, with four sessions each day, totaling twelve sessions over the three days.

Day 1:

Thirty-five participants attended the Research Workshop on the first day. Dr. Segun Vincent facilitated the first session on the Fundamentals of Research Methodology 1. The second session, facilitated by Dr. Victor Kolo, covered Introductory to Qualitative Research Modelling. Omotayo Muritala facilitated the third and fourth sessions on Qualitative Research Modelling: Coding, analyzing transcripts & field notes using NVIVO (Theory and Practical).

Day 2:

Thirty-two participants attended the Research Workshop on the second day. Dr. Kudus Adebayo facilitated the first session on building literature reviews using NVIVO. Dr. Okechukwu Amah covered Introduction to Quantitative Research in the second session. Francis Okoye facilitated the third session on Research Modelling: Introduction to Regression Analysis. Dr. Okechukwu Amah concluded the day with the fourth session on Introduction to Structural Equation Modeling using AMOS.

Day 3:

Thirty-six participants attended the Research Workshop on the last day. Okechukwu Amah facilitated the first session on Structural Equation Modeling using AMOS: Path Analysis. Prof. Samuel Aryee covered the second session on Framing Research Article for International Readership. Prof. Hermann A. Ndofor facilitated the third session on Being the ‘peer’ in peer research. Finding your voice in research & publishing. Segun Vincent concluded the workshop with the last session on Writing a Ph.D. Proposal Crafting your Research Agenda.

After the sessions, certificates were presented to participants who achieved a 70% attendance.
